Over 5 weeks since the beginning of the new league year, former Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Antonio Brown remains a free agent.
Brown admittedly had a tumultuous time in the league over the past few years. After being cut by the Pittsburgh Steelers ahead of the 2019 season due to several bust-ups, the wide receiver had incredibly short spells with the Oakland Raiders (Now Las Vegas) and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Finally, joining the Buccaneers bandwagon mid-way through the 2020 season, Brown showed that he’s still got it by scoring a touchdown in the Super Bowl game against the formidable Kansas City Chiefs.
Given his past record, many questioned how Brown would fit into the Tampa Bay Buccaneers locker room. But according to Bucs wide receiver Chris Godwin, the transition was as smooth as ever.

Humble through his time with Tampa Bay Buccaneers
During a segment of the Ringer’s show ’10 Questions With Kyle Brandt’, Godwin said that the one thing that took him by surprise was how humble Antonio Brown was.
“I honestly think it was how humble he was. So, obviously, he’s a very confident guy. And even though he can talk trash out with the best, I often feel he was humble,” said Godwin.

“He was always so complimentary. Like, the first thing he said to me was like, ‘Yo, are you a beast? I love how you play.’ Then just other things like going about teaching younger guys, whatever he knows,” he added.
Known by fans as Tony Toe Tap, the wide receiver even let the young players in on some tips about footwork.
“You know, we got a bunch of young receivers. And he just taught them little tricks like how to be better at toe-tapping,” added Godwin.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have retained all 22 of their starters from Super Bowl LV. While Antonio Brown didn’t start the game, he played a big role in their win over the Chiefs.
The franchise has been looking to bring back the wide receiver but has so far failed to reach acceptable terms. With Brown still a free agent, which franchise do you think he’ll sign with?
