Over on the Pat McAfee Show, A-Rod is a recurring guest. The duo hold an extremely friendly relationship, often enabling each other to speak freely, and dig for answers. However, when it came to his friend’s old franchise, hiring an inexperienced coach, the 38-year-old quarterback could only express his surprise. While they pressed Rodgers for an answer, all he could say was how shocked he was to see this happening. “I was very surprised,” added Rodgers. “It’s so rare… I think he was coaching high school, right?”

However, this seems to be just another major head-turning decision by the Colts. Owing to a record of 3-5-1 in 9 weeks of NFL. The upper management deemed that it important to make changes. First by benching newly acquired NFL powerhouse Matt Ryan and then change in the coaching. While this move comes with its own share of risk, it does not mean the fans can not hope for the best. Just like A-Rod, who hopes it all works out for the best for the Colts, if not for anyone, then for his friend Pat at least.
