While competing, Biles couldn’t complete her vault attempt, after which she decided she needed time to work on her mental and physical health. After she left, Jordan Chiles replaced her.

Despite Aaron Rodgers’ support, Simone Biles still won two medals in Tokyo

Eventually, the USA didn’t win gold in that event, but she won a silver in the team’s competition. Biles also won a bronze medal in the balance team.
