David Bakhtiari teases Trent Williams after his record-breaking deal with 49ers

David Bakhtiari posted the above tweet on his social media handle. Prior to Trent’s new deal, it was Bakhtiari who was the most paid offensive lineman in the league.

The two rivals have mutual respect amongst themselves, which makes this banter all the more entertaining to watch. Unlike Williams, Bakhtiari endured a tough outing in 2020. This can be attributed to the fact that he was struggling with injuries throughout the year.

David Bakhtiari has been one of the most consistent players for the Packers in the last decade. He is one of the leaders in the team dressing room and has the trust of star quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

The NFC North franchise was once again knocked out in the NFC Championship Game last season. Prior to that year, it was no one else but the 49ers who knocked out the Packers at the same stage.

Both these players are proven superstars who are unfortunately entering the latter half of their respective careers. We can’t be more excited to see if they can offer us fans some more memorable performances to remember before they finally hang up their boots.

Bakhtiari will look to have a good season and regain his spot as the highest-paid offensive lineman in the league.
