When Hawk received his release news, he was on a cruise ship with Urban Meyer and thousands of Ohio State fans. They were stuck in the sea because there were some weather complications with dense fog surrounding the ship. Hawk revealed that the Packers decided not to announce his departure from the team, as then he would have 2500 confused fans to answer. These events happened back in 2014, but Hawk still holds some regrets.
