The NFL’s reigning regular-season MVP Aaron Rodgers was in full voice comparing the ILB’s Pro Bowl snub to be a recurring theme. The Packers QB stated that it is unsurprising that ILB Campbell was not given a place in NFL’s Pro Bowl despite a stellar season. Rodgers does hint that he has seen this happen before to Packers OT David Bakhtiari.

Aaron Rodgers Gives Voters A Piece of His Mind
Rodgers also displayed disappointment in the voters of the Pro Bowl who didn’t give Campbell proper consideration. While talking to Campbell about his All-Pro selection, he was quoted saying, “You got the Bakhtiari treatment. No Pro Bowl, but All-Pro.” The statement hints a bit of annoyance from Rodgers’ side about inconsistencies during Pro-Bowl selection.
The former Super Bowl champion is right to be upset. There have been many instances of some really top players not getting their due diligence in voting. Green Bay has also been a recent victim of this ridiculous occurrence with players like OT David Bakhtiari, C Corey Linsley, and TE Robert Tonyan being the casualties.
A reconsideration and revamp of the system in place for Pro Bowl selection needs to happen soon. It is quite unfair for such underdog and tireless workers who elevate the chances for their franchises to win games. It is a known fact that NFL award panels have a bad name of being full of bias and agendas. Unfair snubs of these players are a slap in the face of hardworking athletes across NFL franchises.
