It was a solemn night for the fans of the Kansas City Chiefs when their favorite team lost against the Cincinnati Bengals in the AFC Championship game in February 2022. To rub salt on the wound, the golfer-turned-influencer Paige Spiranac slammed the Chiefs’ QB, Patrick Mahomes’ inner circle.

The Chiefs were playing their fourth consecutive AFC Championship. The game against the Bengals would have given them the chance to play in the third straight Super Bowl. But as history may have it, they did not win that game.

The Bengals overpowered them and score a victory of 27-24. During the games, fans seem to find the Kansas City Chiefs star QB’s wife and brother annoying. That is because of the antics they pull off during the games. Some were light-hearted. However, one particular action made by Jackson Mahomes upset the fans. Spiranac tweeted, “Patrick Mahomes is down bad…” 

Although fans adore the young quarterback of the Chiefs, they find Patrick Mahomes‘ wife, Brittany Matthews, and brother, Jackson Mahomes, problematic. Why is that? Well, it is their actions during the matchups that affect fans to the umpteenth amount.

Brittany Matthews, who supports her husband in the games, once showered fans with champagne to celebrate the Chiefs’ win. It may seem like a harmless activity. But the champagne was cold, and so was the weather.

Further, Jackson Mahomes rose to be a TikTok sensation. Although, for all the erroneous reasons. The younger brother of the Chief’s QB was once called out by a Kansas City bar. They claimed that the Jackson Mahomes acted rudely to the staff members and also acted entitled. There were also allegations by a business account that he scammed them.

Although Paige Spiranac’s remarks could be humorous, they, to some degree, prove to be true. While she was being empathetic towards Mahomes, it clearly looked like the influencer poked fun at his family. In conclusion, could one say the fans of the game do find Patrick Mahomes’ inner circle bearing? Spiranac thinks so.
