The DE took to Twitter in an attempt to clear any misunderstanding over the viral video of the receipt. The 29-year-old wrote, “Y’all silly if you thought a dinner can cost 300k. It was a prank. The waitress went overboard.” Further clarifying that the dinner was only around $7500. Armstead and the other two vets present chipped in with thousand bucks each and the rookies split the rest of $4500 between themselves. The player also reminded everyone that he had a group of supportive veterans as a rookie, hence he would never put his new teammates through something like that.
