“We will know 30 days from today exactly what the Green Bay Packers’ thoughts are when it comes to Aaron Rodgers long term – the first night of the draft.

“Because what you’ve done recently when it comes to your draft picks does not tell me that you think Aaron Rodgers is going to be there long term.”

Furthermore, Orlovsky opined that the franchise, despite what they may say, are not working on Rodgers’ timeline. Their lack of draft picks at the wide receiver position has told the story for the past few years.

While last year they chose to bring the quarterback of the future, this year they should get a front-seven player if they want to capitalize on Rodgers’ championship window.

“Does not tell me that you think Rodgers is going to be a part of our organization for more than one year – you know why? Not a single wide receiver. We know last year you chose the future.

“If they don’t take a wide receiver, or if they don’t move up and make a selection of an impactful front seven-player, you’re telling me everything I need to know.

“You could say it as much as you want, you’re telling me ‘we’re going to start building for the future, and this isn’t our all-in year’.”

Will the Packers bring in a complementary piece for Aaron Rodgers from the draft? As of now, the franchise has not hinted at any such plans. But all that is subject to change soon enough.
