The Dallas Cowboys’ offensive line has been through various changes. Amari Cooper, the team’s number 1 star receiver, was replaced during the offseason. He was traded to the Cleveland Browns, which provided cap space. Because of this, CeeDee Lamb now has the opportunity to step up and take over as the Cowboys starting WR next season. Surprisingly, there is no bad blood between these two talented athletes.

Even though one may expect ill-will amongst these players, Cooper, in his appearance on 96.7 The Ticket, expressed his appreciation and said, “ He’s been ready. He’s going to make the plays when his jersey number is called, and I can’t wait to see it happen.”
The Cleveland Browns signed Amari Cooper
Cleveland Browns acquired the four-time Pro Bowler Amari Cooper as their new wide receiver in exchange for a 2022 fifth-round draft pick and a swap of 2022 sixth-rounders. Through this trade, Dallas Cowboys were able to free up $20 million which was the base salary of the receiver.

This trade brought some displeasure on Cooper’s part, as conveyed by him. He said, “Yeah, I mean, if you don’t have a chip on your shoulder, then what do you have? What’s your motivating factor for the upcoming year? So, of course I have a huge chip on my shoulder.”

Despite the fact that the trade unconventionally took place, the former Dallas Cowboys WR entered his new season with the Cleveland Browns. Cooper expects to enjoy his time as a Cleveland Brown and looks to grow with the team.
Cooper delivers his recognition for CeeDee Lamb
Amari Cooper only had affirming words for his former teammate CeeDee Lamb. The appreciation comes naturally since these two players were previously close in the Dallas Cowboys.

However, during the interview, he indicates a subtle jab pointed towards the OC Kellen Moore. The team can not have the failures it did a year ago. Many players missed games owing to various injuries.
