Since Mahomes became the youngest quarterback to win SB MVP (24 years, 138 days), the athlete declared that he was not here to joke. Often leading his team through the most pressure-driven situations, Mahomes undoubtedly remains a leader. His numerous accolades and the 10-year contract valued at a whopping $503 million are a restatement to his worth. But again, is he still underpaid despite his exceptional caliber?

Highlighting the matter, Chiefs’ owner previously Clark Hunt said in an interview, “No matter what he makes over his career, I’m sure one way or another, he’ll be underpaid” Hunt conveyed that he believes that Mahomes’ will always be undervalued for his unmatched contributions to the team and his status in the sport.
