The New England Patriots continue their resurgence in style. The Bill Belichick-coached side (9-4) last night defeated the Bills in what can be termed as a technical masterclass. Last night’s win means that the Patriots have now won seven straight games. What’s more impressive is that they are 6-0 on the road this season.

New England Patriots defeat the Buffalo Bills 14-10

The Patriots in their last night win against the Bills focused heavily on their ground game. They outgunned the Bills 229 to 99 yards rushing. But how did they negate Josh Allen‘s aerial threat? They didn’t. Allen’s strong-armed passing assault was negated by the cold, windy, snowy night.

While one QB had tough luck, Mac Jones also had little work to do. Jones’ three tries were the fewest in an NFL game since Buffalo Bills quarterback Joe Ferguson went 0-for-2 in 1974. The game, however, was entertaining as the last-ditch interception of Josh Allen’s throw decided the winner by Patriots DE Miles Bryant.

Mac Jones completes just two passes against the Bills; Twitter Reacts

A win for the Bills would’ve meant that they could reduce the distance between the Patriots and them in the race for AFC East Supremacy. Thanks to this permutation, the pumped-up Bills Mafia was looking forward to rooting for the Buffalo Bills against the New England Patriots on Monday night.

The Patriots, on the other hand, had other plans. They won the match 14-10 in a windy Highmark Stadium after gaining 222 yards via the air on a night when their quarterback, Mac Jones, tried only three throws. Yes, you read it right. Mac Jones attempted only three passes.

“Just a crazy game to be a part of,” Patriots quarterback Mac Jones told reporters after the contest. “We knew if we didn’t turn the ball over, we’d be good.” When asked about his lack of passing, Jones responded – “I’m just trying to win. It was good we scored more than the other team.”

Bills fans with this loss were obviously upset and took to Twitter to share their frustration –
