Tyreek Hill had a lot of words for his new quarterback during the offseason. After his trade to the Miami Dolphins, the wide receiver became the talk of the coastal metropolis. He became a headliner for keeping Tua over his ex-QB, Patrick Mahomes. However, the tides have changed, and the WR has new comments on the athlete.

The former Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver became one of the offseason’s wild chapters. Cheetah never backs off from giving an opinion, and his podcast listeners are well aware of it. His judgment over Tua, who has not had a breakthrough in the NFL, stood positive while acclimating with him. It could be a do-or-die situation, and even the WR believes that.

Tyreek Hill opens up regarding the Dolphins quarterback in the ‘It Needed To Be Said‘ podcast alongside co-host Julius Collins and Jaylen Waddle. Cheetah believes this year is the ultimate chance for Tua Tagovailoa to showcase his true potential.

Hill said, via NFL.com. “You know, in the NFL, they only give you like two or three years to be a successful quarterback, especially if you’re a first-round draft pick. And if you don’t succeed after those years, then it’s, ‘kick rocks, man.’ So, basically, they’re going to put Tua into that. So this is basically his last year, man, just to show people what he got.”

For a quarterback, his third year in a franchise is crucial. It determines if the franchise needs to keep the service running up to the fifth-year option. The Ravens did a similar thing with QB Lamar Jackson to keep him in the franchise. All in all, the third season will decide Tua’s fate in the Dolphins.

Further, in the show, Tyreek had some starry comments for the existing Dolphins roster. Undoubtedly, the Dolphins made some offseason modifications. But Cheetah remains their biggest grab. He has great expectations from the lineup and compares them to the Chiefs’ 2019 lineup. Tyreek asserts he sees the 2019 Chiefs in his current Dolphins roster. In terms of explosiveness and dynamics, it looks the same, or probably even better.

He also recognizes working alongside Mike McDaniel as a ‘crazy’ experience. He calls up moves and his play-calling timescale with ease. If Hill’s comments over their talent stand true, fans should not rule the Dolphins out of a Super Bowl run.
