The Commanders have decided to activate this 23-year-old Rookie into the active roster ahead of their clash against the Titans. Robinson was shot six weeks ago and recovered from his injuries in a short period. The Alabama product was on the H Street corridor in Washington, D.C. That’s when two teenagers appeared in an attempt to rob him.

Although he fought one of them, the other one shot him twice in the legs. This eventually landed him in the hospital. He underwent surgery the following days and said, “That was probably the lowest point I’ve ever been in my life,”.

The athlete had not even played a single NFL snap, and everything seemed falling apart in front of his eyes. But doctors assured him that he could play football again and return to the locker room as soon as possible. “Once the doctors told me I’d be able to play ball again. My mind automatically clicked into what I needed to do to get myself back on the football field,” he explained the situation.

Reportedly Robinson was activated from the non-football injury list last week. He returned to the practice session and participated in the drills. The NFL insider Adam Schefter disclosed the news on Twitter. He affirmed that Rookie will make his regular-season debut on Sunday.

In the first two preseason games of the 2022 season, Robinson left his mark by rushing for 57 yards. He registered a touchdown and caught two passes for 15 yards.
