Not long after revealing his plans to make the 2024 Paris Olympics, Seattle Seahawks wide receiver DK Metcalf is throwing shots at Tyreek Hill. Metcalf has been a little too passionate to enter the track & field arena. But is he fast enough to beat the Cheetah in a race? 

The Kansas City receiver Tyreek Hill is known for his burst of energy in the gridiron. He also has an impressive resume in track & field that dates back to 2012. Hill has clocked insane times in his dashes. Be it 40 yards, 60 yards, 100 meters, or 200 meters, the 5 foot 10 has conquered each track.

Although DK is relatively new to racing, he did make quite an impression as a sprinter during his Olympic qualifiers last year. The beast receiver recorded a remarkable 10.36s in a 100m dash alongside elite racers of the country. Though he didn’t qualify, his timing did awestruck the NFL, and even Hill reacted to it.

Recently in an interview with Taylor Rooks of the Bleacher Report, the 24-year-old revealed his aspirations to represent the USA in France in 2024. He also emphasized that he was very serious about it and that he would start training for it once he completely heals up his foot. 

DK Metcalf believes he can smoke Tyreek Hill in a race

A few days later, in a clip shared by TMZ Sports, the Seattle athlete claims himself to be the fastest man in the NFL. When asked if he would smoke Tyreek Hill, who arguably is the fastest man in the league, the wideout confidently replied, “Yeah, I can beat Tyreek in a race.” 

Earlier in the clip, he also mentioned that during the Pro Bowl, Tyreek wasn’t even trying to win the race, so Micah Parsons got hold of the title, which many assume still belongs to Hill. But his bold claim on smoking Tyreek Hill in a race is something that may prompt many people to think. 

Though with a comparative analysis, it was concluded that Tyreek Hill would completely dominate DK in a race. But judging by DK’s confidence, this debate should really go down to the tracks. And it looks like a challenge is right on the way.
