Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski have taken up an interesting challenge by signing up with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers before the 2020 season kicks off.
Both veteran NFL stars feel like they still have something to offer the game as they make their way to the twilight of their respective careers.

Gronkowski, in particular, returned from retirement in order to join Brady in Florida. The 31-year old tight end maintains he is still at peak physical condition and is looking forward to making his Bucs debut in the coming months.

Former Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski told Boston radio WEEI about his decision to come back from retirement to join Tom Brady at Tampa Bay.
“As a player, you always want to see what it is like somewhere else. (I) thought of that before, definitely after playing nine years in the NFL and I also thought about it when I came out of retirement.
“This is an opportunity to go see what it’s like somewhere else, to go see what it’s like in the NFL on another squad. There’s so many players that bounce around on so many different teams. I loved my time in New England, no doubt about it.
“But it was another opportunity that presented,” said Gronk.
Did Tom Brady and ‘The Gronk’ plan this beforehand?
After nine seasons in the NFL with the Patriots, Gronkowski has three Super Bowl titles and five Pro Bowl appearances to his name.
In addition, ‘The Gronk’ has registered 79 touchdowns in the entirety of his NFL career. Rob Gronkowski enjoyed a lot of success playing under Head Coach Bill Belichick and alongside Tom Brady.
He was asked if Brady and himself planned the whole ‘Tampa Bay’ adventure well in advance. This is what he said.
”No, we never really talked about that before. It kind of just happened. (With) my retirement and him hitting free agency, it just kind of lined up like that,” Gronkowski concluded.
