This offseason has been a tale of many twists and turns. Perhaps, the most talked-about moment has been the Las Vegas Raiders trading for Davante Adams. The former Packers’ WR is excited to make his debut for the Raiders and pen down the team’s redemption arc. However, there are more surprises for Adams than he realises. Adams just wants to stay true to himself and play his game.

In addition, the surprise reunion of the WR with his college QB Derek Carr is probably the most exciting thing for Davante. Both Carr and Adams have had an excellent camaraderie since their college days and hope to translate the same into the upcoming season.

Both attended college at Fresno State and are ready to reunite with expectations soaring high. Davante’s hard work is not a secret. The WR puts his blood and sweat into training and getting ready for games. As a result, he has performed exceptionally well for the Green Bay Packers. However, another traded player, Chandler Jones, is astonished by his work ethic.

Speaking about the WR’s hard work, Jones said, “One thing about Davante that I’ve learned is that he’s a very hard worker. If he doesn’t do something right, he’ll try to go do it again. He will go out there and continuously repeat the drill.”

Having played against Adams, Jones understands what his opponents have to deal with. He warned other teams, “I think he’s a dangerous person to have for our team. I would hate to be a defensive coordinator at night going to sleep, knowing that I have to face Davante Adams that Sunday. I’m just glad that he’s on my side, for sure.”

Jones knows that Carr and Davante have shared a strong bond since their time at Fresno State. He remarked that both of them were always together and seemed very close. They go golfing together after the OTAs and even posted a selfie on Instagram after Davante Adams signed with the Raiders.
