Seasoned NFL star Ezekiel Elliott was visibly exhausted at the post-game presser. He put in a disciplined performance last night to help his team secure a much-needed win. Elliott had 22 carries and rushed for 89 yards with one rushing TD to his name against the Falcons. Here’s what he said after the game.

“We weren’t supposed to win that game. It’s a testament to the type of guys we have in this locker room. We got it done. It’s crazy.”

“It almost felt unreal. For us to persevere with that bad of a start, that’s kind of unbelievable,” Elliott said as per The Athletic correspondent Jon Machota.

Elliott and Co. don’t have time to rest as they go up against Russell Wilson‘s Seattle Seahawks next week. Pete Carroll’s side is like a well-oiled machine and will pose a major challenge for the Cowboys.
