It’s been four years since Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott made his NFL debut. He’s had his fair share of ups and downs in the league. However, this season was going to be a whole different challenge for the promising quarterback.

He lost his elder brother earlier this year and also failed to agree to terms for a contract extension with Cowboys owner Jerry Jones. Besides that, Prescott and Co. suffered a shock loss to Los Angeles Rams in Week One. But, against all odds, the quarterback pulled off one of the greatest comebacks in NFL history last weekend.

Fans and critics alike were watching on in awe as the fifth-year quarterback pulled off an unthinkable win in the first home game of the season. Former Dallas Cowboys defensive coordinator, Rob Ryan, compared Dak to NBA legend Michael Jordan in light of his brilliant individual display on the weekend.

He said, “Well, I mean, Dak Prescott, if you had to see his face after he got knocked out and came over there on the sideline, he looked like Michael Jordan, you know, in those late games…he was intense, he was staring out, he was ready for the moment.”

“This guy has been putting up great numbers and all that for the last few years. People just don’t give him the respect that he deserves, maybe in this game they’ll start doing it. Now Dak doesn’t play defense. The Cowboys have to do a much better job in playing defense,” Ryan said on a Sky Sports talk show.

His efforts on Sunday also earned him the NFC Offensive Player of the Week award.
