The Mike McCarthy-led Dallas Cowboys made their way to a comprehensive 28-31 win over NFC North big boys, the Minnesota Vikings. Backup quarterback Andy Dalton put in a strong performance despite not being at his 100%.

But another Cowboys player who stood out on Sunday was the rookie wide receiver, CeeDee Lamb. On 4 receptions, Lamb had 34 receiving yards to his name, including 1 magnificent touchdown in the first half.

Former Oklahoma Sooners wideout, CeeDee Lamb, appeared in a press meet after last night’s heroics against the Vikings. The promising youngster spoke about his unreal touchdown catch. He also singled out Dallas Cowboys teammate, Ezekiel Elliott, for special praise.

“Yeah…you don’t really know, as a receiver, you don’t really get too many opportunities to catch a corner End Zone type pass, if you will, at the two-yard line when you have a great running game…with Zeke in the backfield.

“You know, I made the most of my opportunity. I saw the ball was in the air, he gave me a shot and I definitely didn’t want it to hit the ground so I came up on a competitive play and it came out alright,” Lamb told the press after Sunday’s win.

Apart from CeeDee Lamb, fellow Cowboys receivers Amari Cooper and Michael Gallup also had a productive outing at the US Bank Stadium on Sunday evening. Yesterday’s win ended a 5-game losing streak for Mike McCarthy’s misfiring Dallas outfit.
