Josh McDaniels appears to have had a difficult time as the head coach. His time with the Denver Broncos faced an abrupt halt, and Las Vegas is also not treating him properly. The Indianapolis Colts were another option on his plate, but he had to let it go after Mrs. McDaniels told him to do it.

As per NFL Insider Dan Dakich, Laura McDaniels, Josh McDaniels’ wife, forced him to turn down an offer from Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay. It was due to some strange behavior he displayed at their residence in Massachusetts, including an unreasonably long bathroom break.

Eventually, Josh McDaniels landed in Las Vegas and joined the Raiders in 2022 as their head coach. However, the franchise failed to clinch the playoffs this season. Additionally, the HC’s reason for not choosing the Colts could be an unusual decision. But Mrs. McDaniels may have observed something about Irsay that was out of the ordinary.

The Raiders’ season spiraled downward after they failed to clinch the playoffs. Several pointed it to be Derek Carr for the franchise’s downfall, who then announced his departure. They could pursue a top guy to bounce back into relevancy as they move forward to make some changes.

Just like McDaniels, Tom Brady faced a damaging defeat on his quest to the Lombardi. After the Cowboys kicked them out of the playoffs, the rumblings around TB12’s next move are at an all-time high since he will become a free agent soon. With that in mind, the Raiders’ HC could have some appropriate use and lure Tom Terrific to Vegas.

With TB12’s free agency approaching rapidly, he has some suitable places to make his next landfall. The Miami Dolphins are one of them, but heading to Las Vegas and reuniting with McDaniels sounds more appropriate. The franchise has good talent and veteran instinct, and the QB1 could thrive there.

However, it is unknown where the Pharaoh will travel next.
