Among the notable figures noticing and liking Nike’s newest campaign in 2018 was former New England Patriots QB Tom Brady. According to reports from TMZ, he made his mark on Instagram by liking four different posts featuring the new Nike ad. It was a rare occurrence for the legendary QB to like a rival brand’s activities on social media.

The Kaepernick-oriented campaign has also received a lot of backlash after launching with a tag line stating, “Believe in something, even if it means sacrificing everything.” Despite the collective shock, Brady had been supportive of Kaepernick and his beliefs. In the past, he has had interviews where he has shared his confidence. Brady believes it will develop a culture and an environment for these long and healthy conversations.
