As of this morning, New England Patriots are one of three teams pursuing Odell Beckham Jr. However, they may just be the team who will push the hardest. OBJ has gone on record to say he would succeed under Bill Belichick, so fans cannot rule out this dream move. But, we have information that says New England is not OBJ’s ideal destination.

According to Evan Massey, New England Patriots have put on a ‘full court press’ to sign the wide receiver. However, he is still waiting to here the best offers. This could mean two things; either the Patriots haven’t offered OBJ their full cap space, or he might’ve changed his mind about playing for Belichick.

This means, Green Bay Packers and New Orleans Saints have a big chance to get OBJ as soon as possible. Interests from teams like Seattle Seahawks, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Las Vegas Raiders will push either the Packers or Saints to act quick. If not, we could see OBJ in a franchise we’d least expect him to play for. Just imagine OBJ playing in Houston, or even Jacksonville.

It all comes down to what’s best for the player, ahead of what fans would enjoy or even how much revenue could come in. OBJ is a generational talent, misused in Cleveland and desperate for a new start. But where will he get this new start? Is it New England, Wisconsin, New Orleans, or maybe a city we least expect.
