The match between the Cleveland Browns and the Green Bay Packers was a tale of two opposites. While the match was a last-minute thriller, there was no shortage of confidence that the Packers would win. The reason behind this was simple – The heart and soul of the Browns offense, Baker Mayfield arguably gave the worst performance of his life.

Two nights ago, the Cleveland Browns lost to a spirited Green Bay Packers side. The 24-22 loss was marred with a surprisingly sloppy performance from Baker Mayfield, which has shocked NFL fans around the world.

For starters, the Browns QB had a horrendous total of four interceptions. To top it, the quarterback’s decisive throw in the last minute of the game was intercepted by Rasul Douglas. To add salt to the wounds, his contemporaries Aaron Rodgers and WR Davante Adams had a record-breaking night.

Browns HC trusts Baker Mayfield to regain form post embarrassing display against Packers

Baker Mayfield arguably gave the worst performance of his career against the Green Bay Packers. Recently, Cleveland Browns HC Kevin Stefanski opened up about his star QBs performance against the Packers. He was very honest and openly admitted to Mayfield’s underperformance.

“Baker told you guys, I’m sure the other night, he didn’t play up to his standard. And we expect him to play at a high level,” Stefanski said, via Cleveland.com’s Mary Kay Cabot. But he did not continue his criticism as he was confident of the champion QB making a comeback. “I think confidence-wise, with the quarterback position, you get too much credit, you get too much blame. And that’s just how it is. And he’ll bounce back and I think he’ll be better for it,” finished Kevin.

Where is Baker Mayfield getting it all wrong? Where should he improve to give a better performance? Will he be able to secure a playoff spot for his team in the last 2 games? So many questions but the answer remain the same – only time will tell.
