Star quarterback Kyler Murray has been recently making headlines for his state of unease with the Arizona Cardinals. Following his Pro Bowl appearance, the 24-year-old scrubbed all the social media posts with the Cardinals on his Instagram profile. This started the rumors of him being in a tense situation with the franchise.

Just after the Super Bowl, Murray backed his disharmony with the franchise on a tweet after ESPN’s Chris Mortensen released a report, stating that the athlete was being framed as a “scapegoat” by the organization following his playoff loss against the Rams. However, a couple of days later a report by Arizona Sports mentioned how the Cardinals signal-caller “definitely regrets” his social media drama.

NBA legend and Arizona resident Charles Barkley had a bold suggestion for the quarterback. “The first question Kyler Murray has to ask himself: ‘Is the criticism fair?'” Barkley said in The Rich Eisen Show. “You can’t overreact when you’re a great player. As great players, we’re not all perfect. The first thing you have to ask is: ‘Is what they’re saying about me true?’ He has to look at himself in the mirror.”

The young quarterback still has a long way to go in the league and judging by his current form he has been a true threat. However, the NBA legend reiterated on him to keep self criticize and be scale as a true athlete.
