The Bills Mafia worried about Josh Allen and his throwing hand

Josh Allen stepped on a major thorn, and no, it’s not Jets cornerback Sauce Gardner. Although Gardner made a vital interception of a Josh Allen throw, Allen’s biggest problem came late in the fourth quarter. During the final drive of the game, Jets linebacker Bryce Huff right-tackled Josh Allen when he was about to release the ball.

The contact was rather unpleasant to look at and Josh looked in apparent discomfort after the game. Buffalo Bills Head coach Steve McDermott said Allen’s suspected UCL injury was still being evaluated and gave no estimate of the number of games he will miss. Both Buffalo and Jets fans jumped to react to this news. Bills’ fans were scared for their quarterback.

Josh Allen threw for 205 yards and 2 interceptions. Allen had to run with the ball for both of his touchdowns. Safe to say, it wasn’t the best throwing game for the Bills QB. However, right after the hit that caused the injury, Allen made a 70-yard throw in the dying minutes and shocked the Bills fans.

Even though the final pass was incomplete, the Mafia saw the drive and tenacity in their quarterback and heaped praises on him.

The Jets’ defense suffocated Allen and the Bills’ offense

Josh Allen has over 2400 passing yards this NFL season. The quarterback has only 8 interceptions this season and 2 of those came against the Jets on Sunday. Allen was also sacked five times by the dominant Jets. The majority of the fans were calling foul play on the injury hit. However, New York Jets fans didn’t think there was anything wrong with the tackle by Huff.

The Buffalo Bills are legitimate Super Bowl contenders this season with the explosive combination of Stefon Diggs and Allen. Bills also brought in 2x Super Bowl champion Von Miller from the LA Rams to solidify their defense. This injury to their quarterback puts a major dent in Buffalo’s post-season plans.

Josh Allen and the Bills are still leading the AFC East with a 6-2 record. They face the mighty 7-1 Minnesota Vikings at the Highmark Stadium next Sunday. Will Allen be fit for Kirk Cousins and the Vikings?
