Former Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Bruce Arians shared his thoughts about the unfortunate events between him and former wide receiver Antonio Brown. The former Super Bowl-winning head coach gave an insight into his disagreement with AB during their Week 17 game in 2021. The game saw AB leaving the game in frustration, taking off his football gear, and walking off the field in an abrupt exit.

However, surprisingly, Arians was complementary of AB and his hardworking nature during practices. The former head coach even recognizes the crucial role AB played for the Buccaneers’ offense during their Super Bowl run in 2020. But Arians also adds that Brown’s injury came under mysterious circumstances following his play in the first half and before his infamous walk-off.

Arians believe that Brown never notified any trainers or doctors about his injury. He adds that he failed to follow proper protocol in case of being injured. The veteran head coach adds that the former Steelers wideout was not happy about the lack of receptions for him at half-time. But it was only the beginning of the end for Brown and his relationship with the Buccaneers franchise.

Brown’s refusal to get back on the field during the Jets game seems to have broken the final straw for Arians. Arians stated, “That’s when I looked back and saw him basically wave off the coach. I then went back and approached him about what was going on. ‘I ain’t playing.’ ‘What’s going on?’ ‘I ain’t getting the ball.’ That’s when I said, ‘You’re done. Get the ‘eff’ out of here.’ That’s the end of it.”

It was the then-Buccaneers coach, who gained the support of the NFL fans and analysts. It led to Brown getting angry and making accusations against Arians.

Some reports suggest Brown’s accusations were made with little merit and were reportedly done out of ‘malice‘.

Among the Buccaneers fans, Arians seem to have left his issues with Brown on the field with recent comments. The 2022 NFL campaign will not feature both Arians and Brown. They will be going separate ways to explore other avenues in life.
