Lurie wasn’t the only one impressed by Hurts’ impeccable season as even Kansas City superstar Patrick Mahomes applauded his efforts, “If there was any doubters left, there shouldn’t be now, The way he stepped up on this stage, ran through the wall, whatever it took for his team to win — I mean, that was a special performance, and I don’t want it to get lost in the loss that they had.”

Mahomes’ comments came right after the Super Bowl game, but judging from the situation we are standing in right now, maybe Mahomes just recognized another champion while being one himself.
