Tampa Bay Buccaneers injury report

The latest injury report from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers is not good news for the team. The Tom Brady led Bucs to have at least four players ruled out for the game against the Rams. Tampa will be without the services of safety Antoine Winfield Jr, WR Russell Gage, guard Luke Goedeke, and TE Cameron Brate. That means the Buccaneers will take the field with a depleted squad in a game that is essentially a must-win. That is the only way to turn their season around.

Antoine Winfield Jr is out of the game due to a concussion injury he picked up during the week seven game against the Carolina Panthers. He returned to practice last week but is still not ready for the game. TE Brate has been out due to a neck sprain since the week six matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers. They also have left guard Goedeke and wide receiver Gage out due to foot and hamstring injuries respectively.

A must win game for Tom Brady and the Bucs

Tom Brady and the Buccaneers are not in a good position this year. They have lost five out of the eight games so far this season. The team is currently on a three-game losing streak after week eight. They wouldn’t want it to be extended to four after the week nine matchup against the Rams. Winning this one could prove crucial to turning the season around.

Though their prized weapon, Tom Brady, is second in the league in passing yardage, he hasn’t been able to translate that into success in the end zone. Brady has thrown 2267 yards this season but only has nine touchdown passes so far. And that is costing the team dearly.

The Bucs currently sit second in the NFC South divisional table. The table-toppers Atlanta Falcons are not out of reach yet, winning just one more game than the Bucs. So, the season is far from unsalvageable for Brady and Co. Can they get a fresh start from the game against the Rams?
