The Baltimore Ravens went up against the Pittsburgh Steelers this Wednesday and almost beat them. They had 17 players on reserve or on the COVID-19 list, which included their star quarterback, Lamar Jackson. The players who tested positive had to stay in quarantine for a minimum of 10 days.

The Ravens knew they would be under armed while going up against the Steelers, but what they hoped was that majority of the team would be back before going up against the Cowboys. The protocols for the covid tested players were slightly different for the ones who were at high-risk zones.

Ravens’ head coach John Harbaugh revealed that it’s not the team’s call to get an infected player back. If the player is devoid of the symptoms, he might return after a 10 days time period after being tested.

On being asked whether Jackson would be playing on Tuesday night, he simply replied “I think I already answered that.”

This year Jackson led the Ravens to a 38-6 victory over Cleveland Browns earlier in Week 1. This year he could not shine the brightest as he did last year.  Many other players like Kyler Murray, Aaron Rodgers, and Russell Wilson took away his spotlight this season.

Currently, the Ravens have a 55% chance of making it to the playoffs. Ravens right now are at the 3rd place on the list in the AFC North. A wild card seems like their only hope right now.
