The Arizona Cardinals slumped in the 2022–2023 season. Arizona ended its season with a 4-13 record. It is safe to say that the team did not fare well and faced numerous problems. And it looks like the problems only got more serious when the NFLPA released a report card on the team.

The NFLPA sent out a survey to players in the league last year. The players gave information about their current teams. This not only helps the athletes make important career decisions but also helps the league raise its standards. Each player had to fill out the questionnaire. A total of 1,300 players responded. Through the questionnaire, the NFLPA found out that the Cardinals need to make some serious changes.

“If players would like dinner, it will be boxed up for them, but players reported that the team will charge you via payroll deduction. This is apparently the only Club that does this,” the NFLPA said.

If the team aims to win games, then it is important for it to offer nourishing food and a safe training facility. The weight room of the team was voted as the worst. According to players, the floor is uneven, and the floorboards are peeling. Therefore, the NFLPA blasted the owner, Michael Bidwill, for not improving the condition of the training facility. Though, in his defense, the training facility is up to the mark as the Eagles practiced there to prepare for Super Bowl LVII.

As per AZCentral, “We talked a lot about areas of improvement that were just not football, but also football operations and about areas where we could be improving things. We’re very open about that.” But there were players who thought the league was too cheap to take steps towards making changes.
