The off-season witnessed wide receivers and quarterbacks setting new records in the NFL market. With Tyreek Hill bagging the most expensive deal among the wide receivers, Packers QB Aaron Rodgers didn’t fail to surprise the fans by signing a contract extension that assures him $50 million per year on average.
Although he became one of the highest-paid quarterbacks in NFL history, the expectations are much higher for the veteran. Rodgers lost his buddy Davante Adams to the Raiders this off-season. It puts him under extra pressure to win the title.

As the teams have started to conduct their training camps, experts are busy analyzing the most under-pressure QB entering the 2022 season. And no doubt, stakes are much higher for the Packers’ QB, given he signed a hefty contract this off-season.
Winning the Super Bowl is the ultimate aim of any player in the NFL. And for a player of Rodgers’ caliber, it might be a cakewalk. However, the veteran is deprived of Super Bowl rings, despite showcasing some exemplary records over the past two decades.
Statistically, in all the seasonal games, Rodgers is an exceptional talent and is often known to dominate the NFC North. However, his issues have always been with the post-season matches where he fails to show up. Since 2010, the California alumnus has never made a Super Bowl appearance raising questions over his leadership abilities.

After spending eight seasons together, Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams parted ways this off-season. It was a huge shocker for him, and he admitted the move was unexpected. Rodgers also mentioned that he decided to play again for the Packers because of Adams, who was believed to stay with the Packers for a few more years.
“Obviously, When I made my decision, I was still thinking he was going to come back. I was very honest with him about my plans and my future. And where I saw my career going, as far as how many years I wanted to play. But I felt like he was going to be back. Didn’t obviously turn out that way.” Rodgers said on the Pat McAfee show after he lost Adams from his offensive unit.
Other QBs like Dak Prescott from the Cowboys, Russell Wilson from the Broncos, and Josh Allen share equal risks in leading their side. It will be interesting to see if Rodgers can rewrite history by taking home another Lombardi trophy before he thinks of a potential retirement from the sport.
