Lamar Jackson has 16 touchdowns and 635 rushing yards this season for the Baltimore Ravens. The 2019 NFL MVP’s uncertainty before facing the 3-7 Panthers who have QB Baker Mayfield returning for the game is certainly not good news. The last time Lamar Jackson missed a game for the Baltimore Ravens was in the 2021 season against the Chicago Bears. However, Baltimore won the game 16-13 with the help of backup quarterback Tyler Huntley.

Head coach John Harbaugh said that Jackson will be fit to play. However, Lamar has not received any official clearance to play. Lamar Jackson’s final availability will be declared 90 minutes prior to the game kickoff on Sunday.

The Baltimore Ravens are playing after their bye week and this has given them enough time to prepare for the Carolina Panthers. Lamar Jackson attended practice on Wednesday and Thursday. So it was assumed that his Friday absence was due to an injury. However, the Ravens HC assured the media that it was just an under-the-weather situation for Action Jackson.
