This month, the Green Bay Packers will hold their first training of the 2022 training camp. It is Green Bay’s 77th training session, a practice that originated under Curly Lambeau in 1946. Green Bay will exercise at Nitschke Field for the 14th time this summer. But kudos to Aaron Rodgers, who turns the attention towards himself by showing up looking like Nicolas Cage. For the first day of training camp on Tuesday, the Packers QB channeled his inner Cameron Poe from the 1997 thriller “Con Air.”

In the clip shared by Packers on Twitter, Aaron Rodgers rocked a full beard and swept his hand through his long, slicked-back hair. The QB wore a white vest, blue denim, and boots with a bag in his hand to mirror the iconic character of Nicolas Cage.

Safe to say, Rodgers absolutely nailed the look. Moreover, the clip could be even better if the background music had Survivor’s iconic track, Eye of the Tiger.

Why did Aaron Rodgers grow his hair?

Aaron Rodgers’ growing his hair became a premiere mystery in 2021. Undoubtedly, he looks breathtaking, but he left various NFL enthusiasts in a state of confusion. The fans noticed his hair flowing out of the helmet. According to New York Post, the Packers QB grew it out for his Halloween costume. He also mentions growing his beard to fit in for “somebody who is a hero of mine, who has long-ish hair.” But on Halloween, he drops the ball.

Aaron Rodgers took to Instagram to unveil his Halloween costume, and it is among the prominent options. The QB dressed up as the legendary assassin John Wick, portrayed by Keanu Reeves. Given that Rodgers is to Chicago Bears fans what Wick is to the gangsters, the whole thing would seem pretty relevant.
