Green Bay Packers fans have finally gotten to hear from their messiah. Aaron Rodgers has remained quiet ever since rumors of him wanting a trade emerged, but he finally broke his silence live on air.

News first broke out of Rodgers looking to make a switch on draft day. While the Packers front office maintained that the QB was not up for trade, Rodgers’ silence had the Packers faithful concerned.
Appearing on SportsCenter, the QB finally talked about the situation brewing at Green Bay and hinted at how the rift could be down to philosophical differences with the organization.

Aaron Rodgers believes it’s all about the people
Rodgers was asked about his scenario multiple times during the show. While the QB dodged the question completely at first, he finally gave a response that offered us some insight into what the 2020 NFL MVP had in mind.
“I think sometimes people forget what really makes an organization,” he said. “History is important and legacy of so many people who’ve come before you. But the people – that’s the most important thing. The people make an organization.”
While not directly addressing the Packers front office, Rodgers hinted that the people who helped build a culture in Green Bay are often forgotten.
“I’ve been fortunate enough to play with a number of amazing, amazing people and got to work for amazing people as well. And it’s those people that build the foundation of those entities and I think sometimes we forget that.”
If that comment was meant for anyone, it was clearly for the Packers front office, and especially GM Brian Gutekunst. Why we say that is because of what Rodgers had to say about the Packers coaching staff and his teammates.

“It’s never been about the draft pick, picking Jordan Love. I love him. He’s a great kid. A lot of fun to work together. I love the coaching staff, love my teammates,” he said.

So contrary to popular belief, it is not the drafting of Love that pushed Rodgers over the edge. What conversations he’s had with the Packers front office remain unknown. But clearly, the exchange between the two parties or the lack thereof has got something to do with the ensuing scenario.
