On Sunday, the Cardinals beat the Panthers 26-16 in a must-win game. Before the match, Watt was in a dilemma about whether to play or not, due to his atrial fibrillation. After the game, he revealed that his condition scared him, and it wasn’t like any normal injuries. However, his family and wife supported him and stayed beside him. “It’s been a very emotional week for my family, for my wife, for myself… I’m very happy to get a win today. Obviously, I’ve had a lot of emotions… I’m glad I’m here today,” Watt said after the match.

Despite feeling happy, the information leak about his health condition bothered the DE deeply. As mentioned earlier, very few people knew about it and it was a personal and emotional sort of injury for Watt. Hence, it irked Watt even more. Meanwhile, after a great win over the Panthers, the Cardinals will face the Eagles next Sunday, which will be a big test for them.
