As much as this spring is relevant to Hunter, it is also special to his fiancée, Leanna Lenee. While he shared a glimpse of him hitting the gridiron this spring, her comment captures the emotion that the player has been going through. Adding to the suspense of the entire narrative is the Seattle Seahawks’ inclination toward the cornerback.

Seahawks go for Hunter
Aware of the fact that it is through his performance at the spring games that he will end up on the radar of NFL scouts, Hunter left no stone unturned. To keep a record of a few of his last, he captured his performance in a video he posted on YouTube and shared a glimpse on Instagram.

Apart from the video, what caught fans’ attention was Leanna’s comment as she wrote “hard.” This comment may intend a couple of things. Primarily, maybe she hinted at how it is going to be tough for Hunter to cut ties with Colorado and college football and enter the NFL carrying the weight of heavy expectations. On the other hand, it may also mean how hard of a personality Hunter is, who will emerge unscathed no matter what situation he has to put himself through.

Good times lie ahead of Hunter
April 27, Saturday, marked an important day in Hunter’s life. As he got the last opportunity to hit the gridiron in the springtime, he used every bit of it. He took charge on both sides of the field and even caught four passes from Shedeur Sanders. It is to be noted that all of the four passes were first-down catches. Even though the weather turned out to be the biggest foe, the heavy rain could not dampen his outstanding performance on the defense.

Hunter did leave a hint of what he was bringing to the table when the Buffaloes struggled while he evolved as a consensus All-American. All these little steps were enough for the Hawks to prey on Hunter. As put forward by ESPN’s Jordan Reid, according to the 2025 mock draft, the two-way charger is expected to land in the Evergreen State at the 11th pick.

Since the Seahawks depend on two building blocks, Riq Woolen and Devon Witherspoon, adding Hunter to the roster as an interchangeable defensive back would give them options. The time has arrived for Hunter to prove his hardness and secure a spot in the NFL.
