After 2021, former Super Bowl champion Antonio Brown didn’t see action on the field. But that doesn’t mean that he’s not in the news consistently. 2022 saw much action, including releasing a music album and hanging out with celebrities like Kanye West. After his controversial exit from the NFL, fans have speculated about his return to the league.

While rumors ran high that Brown would return to the league, he previously shut down the rumors in an interview with the Fan Controlled Football League, saying, “Nah, don’t play yourself looking at me to play.” In addition, Sporting News reported Brown’s statement, “You can’t play forever. I think I’m a great player that’s done everything in the game.” All these prior hints may lead up to this moment!

Antonio Brown entered the NFL draft as a sixth-round pick by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the 2010 NFL Draft. He quickly became one of the best WRs of the 2010s, receiving more receptions than any other player in the NFL from 2010 to 2018. However, Brown’s NFL career was marred by off-field controversies that put him on a hot seat. But the sudden exit from the game between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the New York Jets ultimately ended his career. So, what’s next for Brown?

Antonio Brown’s run in the NFL may have ended prematurely after his exit. Still, he made his presence known in the league with over 900 receptions, 12,000 receiving yards, 83 TDs, and seven Pro Bowl nominations. After his football career ended, he became a co-owner of the New York-based team Albany Empire in 2023, where his father had previously played. However, the venture was short-lived, as the deal was terminated in the same year.

While that path didn’t work out, Brown has another business venture with rap mogul Kanye West as the president of his sports fashion line, Donda Sports, that began in February 2022. He’s now the host of CTESPN Network, bringing breaking NFL news for his fans. Despite his exit from the NFL, Antonio Brown is undoubtedly in good hands moving forward as he has thrived all this time.
