Football can be cruel sometimes! While the game is often fun and entertaining, there are some unexpected casualties too! One such tragic incident happened on Friday, leaving the whole NFL world shocked and saddened. And it hurts a little more when the game takes a toll on a young player’s life.

On Monday, the NFL world mourned the sudden death of a 16-year-old quarterback Caden Tellier. Unfortunately, the Alabama high school player suffered a head injury during the school season opener. According to the player’s family and school officials, the teen was admitted to the hospital in critical condition after suffering a brain injury.

Several NFL players, including the former WR, Antonio Brown, also reacted to the QB’s sudden death. Grieving Tellier’s death, Brown shared the ML Football’s post and wrote, “RIP King. Hate hearing this.”  

ML Football took to their Instagram account to share the tragic news. Tellier was playing a Friday night football game, which later turned into a heartbreaking incident. The caption of the post read, “CADEN WAS JUST 16 YEARS OLD.” The late QB’s mother defined him as a kind, generous, and loving person. He studied at the Morgan Academy and Bryan Oliver, the school’s headmaster expressed his sadness through a Facebook post, “There are no words to describe how we feel as a school community and family.”

Tellier’s parents, Jamie and Arsella, also shared their sorrows on Twitter, with the caption, “Our boy, Caden Tellier, has met Jesus face to face.  Lives have been touched by the way he lived, and now lives will be saved through his passing.” The family appreciated everyone’s prayers and supports and remembered how he has impacted lives. Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Antonio Brown, Tellier’s parents, and his school are not the only ones shattered by the QB’s death. The news has shocked the whole NFL world, getting fans’ support.

Fans join Antonio Brown to send prayers to Tellier’s family and demand to mandate guardian helmets

Soon after ML Football and Antonio Brown posted about Tellier’s demise, fans quickly started reacting to it. The NFL world sent prayers and support to the QB’s family during their difficult time. While one user posted how the sudden loss has devastated the whole NFL community, others expressed how sad the incident was.

Several netizens have also raised concerns about the NFL players’ safety. Some fans even highlighted the importance of guardian helmets for players at all levels. Being medically certified, these soft-padded helmets can save lives by preventing life-threatening injuries. A fan wrote, “Need the Guardian helmets in all levels, don’t matter how goofy it looks…..”
