Pat McAfee discloses why the Broncos defense clamped Patrick Mahomes

In a recent YouTube video by The Pat McAfee Show, the 36-year-old sports analyst began on a surprised note as the Denver Broncos defeated the Chiefs in a startling 24-9 victory. He defended the 28-year-old Chiefs star QB, stating, “The way that defense clamped down in a man who had IVs in his arms all night on Saturday cause he was sick.“?

Pat McAfee revealed in his show that Patrick Mahomes wasn’t in his best health as he was down with the flu, and that’s a major factor contributing to this blowout twist in the game. He added, “He was tired. You saw him. He had the shivers on a sideline. He had a little heatwave going on. He didn’t understand what everybody was saying cause his ears were clogged cause he had allergies. Patrick Mahomes was sick.

This is a change in history as Patrick Mahomes faces his first defeat against Russell Wilson’s Broncos. But with the star QB struggling with the seasonal flu and Denver’s cold weather contributing to the cold, it wasn’t a game he’d like to remember. He stated after the game, “It’s?the worst I felt walking out of the stadium.”

The Denver Broncos trolls Travis Kelce with Shake It Off after game

Some people believe that Patrick Mahomes’ flu might not be the only reason the Chiefs played a dismal game. Chiefs TE Travis Kelce’s hot romance Taylor Swift was absent from the game despite Kelce’s invitation. Sources speculate that it could be because she could be down with the flu after her recent sighting with Mrs. Brittany Mahomes, or it could be because she’s preparing for her next Eras Tour.?

Following the blowout defeat, the Denver Broncos played Taylor Swift’s hit single Shake It Off on the speakers as the Chiefs left the stadium in defeat. Travis Kelce only managed to secure 58 receiving yards and six catches compared to the last game, with 172 receiving yards and 12 catches when Taylor Swift was his cheerleader at the game. Swift fever, maybe? We don’t know.?

Hopefully, everything will be settled, including Patrick Mahomes’ flu, when the Chiefs meet Mahomes’ AFC East 1st lead 6-2 Miami Dolphins in Week 9 before their bye week.?
