Last year, as Isabella Strahan documented her cancer battle through a series of vlogs, she reached a poignant moment. On June 8, after she completed her last round of chemotherapy, she celebrated with a confetti parade while surrounded by family. Isabella then got to ring the bell at the hospital, signifying the end of treatment. “It’s toll will clearly say, my treatment’s done. This course is run. And I am on my way!” she said. The bell marked the end of a painful ordeal for Isabella and signalled the dawn of a new beginning. Since then, she has been slowly getting her life back on track, one step at a time.

After being diagnosed with brain cancer on the eve of her 19th birthday, and undergoing painful rounds of chemotherapy, Isabella was declared cancer-free last year in July. Since then, she has returned to the University of Southern California to continue her studies, embracing campus life once again. “It feels amazing, I love getting to be able to go to classes with people my age,” she said on GMA. Her journey and advocacy were further highlighted in the ABC special “Life Interrupted: Isabella Strahan’s Fight to Beat Cancer.” Last month, Isabella also found her way back to modelling.

Michel Strahan’s daughter revealed she is part of Kenneth Cole’s “Purposeful Voices” campaign, showcasing their spring 2025 women’s ready-to-wear collection. “I am alive. Isn’t that a beautiful thing?” Isabella Strahan said in the ad that was dropped on March 23. Now, after nearly a month, she chose to reflect on her photoshoot for the campaign.

She shared several gorgeous pictures from her Kenneth Cole campaign on Instagram with the message, “Reminiscing on dream ad with @kennethcole thank you for allowing me to be a voice 🤍.”  She wasn’t just posing—she was commanding. The shots feature her in sleek, powerful ensembles: a black blazer and skirt suit, a striped blue shirt paired with a black skirt co-ord set, and a halter neck black top with pants. These weren’t just clothes—they were armor. Symbolic of a young woman who went to war with cancer and came out slaying.

Her journey is characterized by resilience after a year of chemotherapy, surgery, and uncertainty, but it didn’t begin this way. After undergoing multiple surgeries and rounds of chemo, Isabella had to relearn how to walk and talk.

Isabella talked candidly about the early days on the Battlefront podcast. “At the beginning of my journey, I was not so positive. I only kind of thought about the worst things that could happen. And I think that’s pretty detrimental,” she admitted. There were times when it seemed as though there was no hope for the future. But she kept going, and Kenneth Cole himself didn’t hold back his admiration.

“I am inspired by how Isabella has persevered and overcome her personal illness,” he said in an interview with Good Morning America. “I appreciate her allowing us to help her tell her story as part of our Purposeful Voices campaign.”

Isabella hand-picked her seven looks for the campaign and was thankful for the opportunity presented to her. “I’m so grateful for the opportunity to use my voice to comfort, inspire and give hope to others fighting to survive. I’m honored that Kenneth recognized me as a beacon of light for those in need and asked me to be part of his ‘Purposeful Voices’ campaign. The brand’s long-standing dedication to social impact is something I’ve always admired and it’s empowering to be part of the brand’s story,” said Strahan.

And while the campaign marked a milestone in Isabella’s comeback and the appreciation poured in, there was one comment that made it personal.

Isabella Strahan’s comeback crowned by Sophia’s powerful one-word tribute

One comment stood out among the flood of fiery remarks and heart-eye emojis. It wasn’t from a fan or a fashion editor—it was from her twin sister, Sophia Strahan. It was just one word, but it hit differently. “Love 🔥🔥,” Sophia commented. That’s all. Because sometimes a single phrase can express everything when you’ve experienced what these two have.

Isabella first informed Sophia about her symptoms, and her sister informed their parents. As Isabella battled cancer, Sophia tried to anchor her sister in normalcy. “Something she would say to me quite a few times was like, ‘I just don’t feel normal…’ I think something that I tried to do best was to make her feel normal.”

She tried to keep Isabella in the loop with the world. Whether it was dishing out the latest friend group drama or diving into whatever headlines were making waves that day, Sophia tried to bring a semblance of normalcy to her sister’s life.

And yet here they are, physically and emotionally reunited in real time. The sisters are now creating memories rather than lamenting them, whether it’s a Kenneth Cole banner or sunsets in the Bahamas. A recent getaway to the Bahamas proved that. From sipping iced matcha lattes to recreating childhood beach photos, the Strahan twins are rewriting their story in bold, beautiful chapters.
