But as things stand, the Titans have already struck their best shot somewhere else. Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson had to leave the game early because of an unfortunate issue. The breaking news has come from NFL insider Ian Rapoport.

Will the Colts pay in the long run?

In the second quarter, following a 4-yard rush, Richardson went down after a hard tackle that made him land awkwardly. It looked like Richardson suffered a shoulder fracture in the instance after he pointed toward it. He found his feet soon and got back up, only to walk toward the medical tent. NFL journalist Tom Pelissero has shared the news on X (Twitter) after Ian Rapoport made it public.

Colts wasted no time to send backup quarterback Gardner Minshew to the field, who has started this season before with a similar situation involving Richardson.

With the third quarter on display, the Colts have still maintained their lead over the Titans, with a 17-13 scoreline. It remains interesting to see if the Titans can use the absence of Richardson to their benefit late in the game.
