Who is Stephanie Macdonald?

Stephanie, the wife of NFL coach Mike Macdonald is truly a talented figure. And, this extends to her eight-year long-standing career in cheerleading, as she has made stints with top teams like Tennessee Titans, Baltimore Ravens, and Washington Commanders.

One of the particular highlights included when she took to represent the Ravens at the Pro Bowl in 2014. Talking about the Pro Bowl honor, she reflects, “You think about all the players in the NFL. The cheerleaders only send one every year—that’s very special.”

Not only this, her singing talent is no less phenomenal. Back when she was in the cheerleading squad for the Commanders, she had also performed the National Anthem at FedExField, where 70,000 fans had come together.

And, for her, this experience was unforgettable. But, even beyond this, the thing that she is most thankful for is her relationship with Mike. The love story they share is no less majestic.

It was their mutual friend Travis, a coaching staff member, who had introduced them to each other. And, despite the ups and downs of Mike’s career, they have remained inseparable.

How has Stephanie been a strong supporter of Mike Macdonald?

The roots of their relationship can be traced back to 2014 when Stephanie was already making waves as a cheerleader for Ravens, while Mike was a coaching intern. Recalling their initial days, Steph recalls, “When I was dating Mike, I didn’t get out of practice until 11 PM. He’d wake up at 5 AM to go to work. We passed like ships in the night.” But, despite the right schedules, they never gave up on each other.

And, eventually, they took to tie knots in 2021. Ever so grateful for him, and praising his demeanor, she adds, “He’s just so level-headed, cool as a cucumber. He hears none of the noise; all he thinks about is the play that’s going on.

When Mike was busy with his coaching schedule, she planned the wedding, and in turn, Mike planned a surprise trip to Hawaii for his honeymoon. Steph humorously recalled, “We’re on a boat together, and he’s taking recruiting calls.” But even beyond the commitments, Steph never lets go of her individuality. She adds, “You’re not just Mike’s wife here. You’re Stephanie.”

Currently residing in Seattle, Stephanie and Mike are all set to welcome their first child, a baby boy, this coming December. And, excited to extend their family, which also includes their Labrador, Bruce, they are ready to start the next chapter soon!
