Zach’s mother, Vanessa Tom, is also an LSU professor who has carved out her own academic career. Vanessa’s devotion to education reflects her desire to assist the kids she teaches achieve. If you don’t know, Vanessa is actually a firm believer in hard work and tenacity. We can see how she has used her mindset to grow her children. Zach and his siblings the value of establishing high expectations for oneself, whether in school, athletics, or life in general. Aside from that, his parents have always helped the NFL great handle sports and study together. It was tough for him to do that.
