Yet, fate was not on his side as the Kansas City Chiefs walked away from this match-up victorious.

Speaking to the media in a post-game presser, Shanahan laid it out straight and clear. “It was a good team, we went back and forth throughout the whole game. And both teams played their a**es off and then they got it done. We were hurt. Our team’s hurt but that’s how it goes when you put yourself out there.”
