While Patrick Mahomes is a regular guest at the American Airlines Center, this time, an uncommon appearance from Travis Kelce shook the fans, but not in a good way.

The Chiefs tight end was booed in the American Airlines Center after Mahomes sent a special tweet addressed to him. But that doesn’t deter Taylor Swift’s boyfriend from doing what he wants. He went to see the Mavs leader Luka Doncic and had a special message to deliver to him.

Kelce is a huge basketball fanatic. He used to play the sport in school and that carried on over the years. Perhaps that’s why he’s such a Doncic fan, because the Mavs guard doesn’t fail to amuse. After the game was over, Kelce caught hold of Luka in the tunnel and told him to “Go get you one!” Perhaps he wants him to follow in Patrick Mahomes’ footsteps and steal the championship trophy.

Travis Kelce is not a fan favorite in the American Airlines Center

It all started when Travis Kelce went to the NHL Playoff game between the Dallas Stars and the Edmonton Oilers. The Dallas team won 3-1 over the Canadian team and offered Travis Kelce a Stars jersey with his name on it. The news got to the 3x Super Bowl champion Patrick Mahomes, and he tweeted out, “Yo get out of my arena!!@tkelce😂😂😂 go @DallasStars!!!”

The tweet was enough to turn Dallas fans against Kelce and people started booing him when he got a spot on the jumbotron. MLFootball uploaded the video of what went down at the game and captioned it “DAMN… Travis Kelce was booed at the Mavericks playoff game tonight while there was LOUD CHEERS for Patrick Mahomes.”

As soon as Kelce was in focus, the crowd wanted him off the jumbotron, but Mahomes being a good friend handled the situation with poise and took all the attention on him and tried to cheer the crowd to support the basketball team. Kelce dodged a bullet there, thanks to the hometown hero that is Patrick Mahomes.
