On Thursday, May 8, he shared great news with his fans, sharing photos from his graduation. Another person smiling in happiness is his mother, Ferrante Edmonds.

She accompanied him to the 2025 NFL Draft in Green Bay, Wisconsin, when the Jags drafted him in Round 1 (No. 2 overall). His mother shared a photo of the NFL star proudly rocking the graduation robe. The Colorado student earned a degree in anthropology and was a two-time Academic All-American with a 3.79 GPA. Even with his feat, he made history by becoming just the 3rd Heisman Trophy winner to earn Academic All-American honors. Two Florida Gators alumni have done this previously, Danny Wuerffel (1996) and Tim Tebow (2007).

However, he became the first Colorado Buffaloes player to be a unanimous First-team All-American and First-team Academic All-American. The college also acknowledged his greatness by retiring his jersey number 2 along with Shedeur Sanders‘ jersey number 12. He even hyped up the fans by sharing a video from Boulder, Colorado, and said, “What’s up, Buff Nation? It’s your boy Trav! The boys out here graduating, man!”
