Stroud’s flawless execution was the driving force behind the Texans’ dominating 44-10 road victory over the Baltimore Ravens. He was absolutely on fire with his arm, showing unbelievable accuracy, completing 23 out of 27 passes.

He shredded the defense for 244 yards and threw an explosive four touchdowns, which tied for the most in the entire NFL that week. When you look at his efficiency, his 143.9 passer rating proves he was one of the very best quarterbacks on the field across the league.

But it wasn’t just Stroud’s arms but his legs too, which proved that he could burn a good defense breaking free for a massive career-long 30-yard scramble. He immediately followed up that huge run by dropping a dime for a 10-yard touchdown pass to Nico Collins.

It was a total masterclass that highlighted his complete control of the offense and cemented his spot as the AFC’s top offense.

The Texans’ offense was seriously struggling to start the season—they were ranked near the bottom of the league in points and total yards, and quarterback CJ Stroud even said he felt like he needed to be better at everything.

But everything changed in Week 5 against the Ravens. The Texans absolutely blew out the injured and short-handed Ravens, winning 44-10. Stroud had his best game of the season by far, throwing for 244 yards and four touchdowns with a near-perfect passer rating. The team scored on every offensive drive while Stroud was in the game!

“What I saw from CJ Stroud today was his demeanor. He was very calm.”

Stroud further added to the praise, saying, “I’m just proud of him having the resolve to just continue to push through. He had a nice rush there to get us in the red zone. He just made smart plays with the football all day.”

The win was huge because it broke the Texans’ long losing streak in Baltimore and finally showed what their offense could do. Everyone is hoping this dominant performance is what finally gets their season on track.
