The Pittsburgh Steelers were the favorites to win the Week 10 game against the Los Angeles Chargers. But they lost as quarterback Aaron Rodgers‘ offense played poorly. That ultimately shifts the spotlight to the rookie QB Will Howard and his chances in the league. However, before that, the young quarterback is busy celebrating his personal milestone with the love of his life.

On November 10, his girlfriend Skylar Skoglund shared a carousel of photos on Instagram. It had their photos from date nights, college days, and even practice at Steelers camp. But fans were blown away at the special announcement in the caption.

“You complete me. Happy anniversary. 🤍,” Skoglund wrote.

“My love ❤,” Howard replied.

His anniversary comes at a time when things are looking good for him to start for the Steelers now. Rodgers appeared helpless as the Chargers sacked him in the end zone (three times for a loss of 13 yards). He finished the game with 16 of 31 for 161 yards, 1 touchdown, and 2 interceptions. With three turnovers in the Week 10 matchup, head coach Mike Tomlin might give a chance to the rookie.

Additionally, everyone expects Rodgers to retire after this season, but if he keeps playing like this, the team might have to speed things up. That will open the door for Will Howard. He hasn’t played yet, but fans are already wondering if he might be next. They met for the first time when Skylar’s sister Sara set him up to meet Howard. Sara was dating his teammate, Seth McLaughlin. Since then, they have often been spotted together. Another fan sent happy vibes through her wishes.
