The Super Bowl champion Keyshawn Johnson was on a podcast with Don, Hahn & Rosenberg on ESPN. When he was asked about Aaron Rodgers, he right away said, “I’m not interested.” Keyshawn Johnson was a star WR for the Jets (1996 to 1999.) The 52-year-old continued saying, “I’m not interested in Aaron Rodgers Let’s just say I’m not interested If Aaron Rodgers would ask me that I would tell him I’m not interested.”

He continued, “And I like Aaron Rodgers I don’t know him personally but when I see some of the things that have gone on in Green Bay…” Rodgers has spent 18 freaking seasons with the Packers with a 147-75-1 record, 59,055 passing yards, 475 passing touchdowns and 105 interceptions. His take on the 41-year-old continued, “… Now in New York, I don’t know that I really want to bring that back into my locker room Whatever that is ’cause I don’t have all the details and all the stories. But I do know a player was thrown under the bus and eventually traded I do know a coach was fired and a lot of the coaching staff was demoted.” The NY Jets HQ is stirring right now for their head coach search. On the question of Aaron Rodgers, the insider was saying, “I’m just trying to think of a logical place for him to play and I can’t think of one. I’m guessing he doesn’t want to go to a rebuild. And if you’re a contender, I’m not sure they want to take on Aaron Rodgers and all that comes with that. So, he might just come to the conclusion that he’s done.” After failing to deliver a decent number of wins for two years for the Jets, Rodgers has not given his stance on the future yet.

The 41-year-old four-time MVP signed has signed a three-year deal with the Jets worth $112,500,000.  He has only $75,000,000 guaranteed out of this. And as the offseason is right around the corner the franchise may move away from Rodgers to sign a free agent. In the 2024 season, he has delivered 3,897 yards, 28 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions. And though the Super Bowl winner QB hasn’t taken a clear stand about the future, weeks ago, he was ready to take pay cuts.

Sources say that the Jets are looking for a replacement for Aaron Rodgers. The Jets have too many choices, such as Russell Wilson and Deshaun Watson, but the veteran quarterback has limited opportunities.
